We provide short-form video editing services that include, but are not limited to:

Editing, trimming, and pacing of user-provided footage.
Caption design, color correction, and motion graphics.
Sound design, trending audio integration, and platform optimization.

Service details, turnaround times, and deliverables are described on our Pricing and Services pages. We reserve the right to modify or update our offerings at any time.

3. Client Responsibilities

To deliver the best results, clients agree to:

Provide clear footage, files, and creative direction when submitting projects.
Ensure all provided materials (videos, music, images, etc.) are legally owned or licensed for use.
Respond promptly to communication and feedback requests to avoid project delays.

You retain full responsibility for the content you submit.

4. Ownership & Usage Rights

All original content you provide remains your property.
Edited videos delivered by Articus become your property after full payment is received.
Articus retains the right to use snippets, screenshots, or anonymized samples of completed work for marketing and portfolio purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.

5. Payments

All payments are processed securely through the payment systems listed on our site.
Services are billed upfront unless otherwise agreed.
Prices are listed in USD and may change over time with notice.
Refunds are not issued after editing work has begun, but reasonable revisions are included as stated in your chosen plan.

6. Revisions & Delivery

Each plan includes a specific number of revisions (or unlimited revisions, where stated).
We aim to deliver within the timeframes listed on our site (typically 24–48 hours depending on workload and plan).
Rush orders may be available at an additional cost.
Once final files are approved, we are not responsible for subsequent modifications made by the client.

7. Cancellations

Clients may cancel a subscription or order at any time before the editing process begins.
If editing has started, Articus reserves the right to charge for work completed to date.
Recurring plans may be canceled at the end of the current billing cycle through written notice or your client dashboard.

8. Intellectual Property

All design templates, editing systems, or frameworks developed by Articus remain the intellectual property of Articus and cannot be resold, redistributed, or reused outside your purchased deliverables.

9. Limitation of Liability

While we strive for excellence, Articus is not liable for:

Any loss of data, profits, or business opportunities arising from service delays or technical issues.
Errors caused by incomplete, incorrect, or copyrighted client-provided materials.
Platform-related issues (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.) that affect your video’s reach, visibility, or monetization.

Our total liability under any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific project in question.

10. Confidentiality

All client files, footage, and communications are treated as confidential and are not shared with third parties without written consent, except as required by law.

11. Third-Party Tools & Platforms

Our services may rely on third-party tools (e.g., payment processors, file hosting, or analytics platforms).
Articus is not responsible for the privacy practices or functionality of these external services.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our services at any time if you breach these Terms, violate applicable laws, or misuse our platform.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, we encourage informal resolution through direct communication first.
If unresolved, disputes will be handled in accordance with applicable laws in California, USA.

14. Modifications

Articus reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.
